Grip Tape for Stock

True Value sells grip tape for steps I've seen some guys using that but you can only get it in gray. How big of a area are you covering ? IT sells by the foot on rolls so you can cut it to size btw . I have some 1" wide (black) smooth bumps on it if you want to give a try PM me Best of luck

Do a search....How to stipple a stock? It's easy and improves grip just fine. Looks better than tape. I use a Dremel and 3/32 sphere cutter. Push the cutter into it's equator over and over till you are done.

I used to run a very similar product on the gas tank of my motorcycle. Worked better than a skateboard type grip tape and didn’t destroy everything it came in contact with.

I also used Dragon Grips and a similar product, I could not tell the difference in either. Dragon grips was more expensive for the amount of material you get. This is the other product I used,https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00I5WAPYG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

What you want is the rubberized traction tape without the sandpaper like grit texture. Use a hair dryer when installing to help it conform and stick better. The stuff works great.
