Green Laser Pointer to IR torch?

Some green laser pointers already "leak" a lot of IR, and can be dangerous because of it. I bought a fairly cheap, "high" power (150mW) IR laser pointer that works well, and was much cheaper than similar power green pointers. Also am using a cheap-ish Bell+Howell digital camera that has a switchable IR filter. But, to get really cheap, you want to use the methods in the post "DIY Night Vision", about 15 posts down...

Thanks，
The weight of the setup is the real deal cause I don't want wires all over my gun.
It means that our method would be much better. (Cheap and less load)
