Great time at DCFS

Last Saturday I went to Delaware county field and stream club and competed in one of their field target events (hft) and did good. I competed with my Prosport and had a awesome time meeting new people and reconnecting with old ones. Doug Brislee (hope I spelled the last name right), Brian (forgot his last name sorry) and he was shooting a super super quiet fx bobcat I think, Mike harris with his styer, rich bassett, and an Englishman named Mike (i think) with his airwolf which was really light, and i shot that gun and it has an electronic trigger or sear or something like that which really felt odd to a springer's trigger and very light. I was almost tempted to join the dark side. *Please note springer shooter I said almost, lol. Then there's my man Tom Ryan with his Thomas br. That rifle seemed so sturdy. There were others there that I have forgot, oh yeah there was Jay something with his hw97 I believe. Good dude too. Well I want to thank them for a good time. I enjoyed myself greatly. I only got a 56 out of 66 I believe. Reason is that I never got a chance to write down and shoot my Prosport past her zero even though I had a permission to go to find out (only went to the permission twice because it was supercold, raining or snow so I didn't go). So at 35-55yds on my first 2 runs I had to guess and sometimes I could see where my pellet but to gauge where to aim. None the less, it was a great day, awesome people and got to shoot...what else can you ask for?

All you Jarheads are a national treasure. No joke! Thanks for posting the pictures. The airgun program at Delaware County Field and Stream (near Philadelphia. PA) is starting to return to its former self thanks to Mike and Doug. For those unfamiliar with the club, that is the dedicated airgun range in the photo and that was simply a practice match. The regular field target matches are held in a wooded area behind the main clubhouse and are really outstanding courses.

Some events are just more fun and that one was.
