I had a need for something to deal with midnight predators in my chicken pen without waking the neighbors, so looking at my options for something small and light with enough power to effectively put down large raccoons and an occasional other predator, I had settled an the idea of a TalonP with moderator, but looking at the usual sources, it seemed nobody had them in stock.
Then I stumbled on Talon Tunes with a TalonP in their inventory, so I excitedly put it in my cart and place my order, before looking around the web site and seeing the AAA Talon, already rigged out with a moderator and a few other welcomed improvements. It was late at night, so I decided to call in the morning to see about upgrading my order.
I called and spoke to Tony. Not only did he upgrade my order but also asked several questions obviously to determine that I was not buying something I wouldn't like instead of just taking my money and run.
I expected a bit of a delay for the upgrade, but he obviously had that one in stock too because I had it in my hands in just a few days.
Now, on to the gun. As said already it arrived very quickly. It was well packaged with the only thing I need to do was install the moderator and butt stock.
I mounted a spare scope I had in my gun room, pumped it up and took it out to my backyard range to sight it in. I was not expecting any real accuracy, but this little gun is hole on hole at 25 yards, and much similar at 50. I haven't tried it any further out as the scope I have on it now in conjunction with my aging eyes, make any long range shooting unlikely until I get some better glass.
So to sum it up. Tony, and Talon Tunes are great to deal with and deliver exactly what they promise. I highly recommend them.
