Got my wind meter today ?

It should give me an idea of the wind gust I have where I shoot. If it is a solid consistant wind I can get an idea of my windage.

I filled up my main fill tank to 4500 today at work and that should last me all next week as I'm off...(my birthday). I'm heading off tomorrow for some early morning squirreling and then some exploring. I'm only taking one serious hunting gun, my 25 cal Condor.... I may take a spring/gas ram gun to play around. I have my 14cf tank in the truck too.

It all depends on the heat, if I'm out early and start to pass out I'm going home... A very real possibility, as today the guys at work were really hot in the production room (107+) degrees, we have three huge fans and two huge swamp coolers too !!!!

I will fill up and be out early, with this heat, sometimes by 9 ish it is just to hot !

Took it out and it give me a good idea of what is happening, I was getting a wing between 15-18mph and felt that was the normal king of medium wind I have when I'm at my shooting spot. The wind most of the time I have a feeling is much closer to 30 mph with gusts higher.

This is a nice little unit to see where my hold needs to be to keep me in the ballpark !

Yep, it is just a little cheapo but it does the job, tells you what the wind is speed is. No fancy connections or ? Just a wind meter, also tells me the temp, which I really don't need but the temp seems accurate

For about $33.00 it is perfect. The unit is made pretty well too (tough molded plastic), the only thing is I wish it had a case, I may buy a cheap generic case for it at Walmart !

They have this one on clearance for about twice as much, does more and looks like a good deal, but I'm a pretty basic guy, just tell me how fast the wind is blowing ...... although to tell you the truth I probably would have got this unit if it was on clearance last week ;- )
