Got my SideShot mounted today

That Benjamin Armada sure is still when it shoots, sure ain't no springer. I enjoyed seeing you use the SideShot, because I bought one yesterday and am looking forward to getting it. I've watched a lot of YouTube videos and think I'm ready. I plan on putting it on the scope that sits on my PCP gun - an FX Royale 400.

Question - Do you use a movie app on your phone while you record or did you just slip your cell phone in and push "Video"? I watched a YT video where the poster used an App called ProMovie, but I didn't really want to fool around with it.

And what kind of Centerpoint scope came with the Armada? Do you think it would last on a springer, such as an Air Arms TX200, Diana 48 or Diana 460 Magnum?

Sorry for the late reply. Yes it is very still when it shoots, probably because it weighs so much. It is a bit of a beast to tote around, but I do love the way it shoots. I was just using the camera app on my phone, just hit the record button before I was ready to shoot. I did upgrade to a Firefly 8 SE a couple weeks ago, but have only gotten out once to shoot and didn't capture a decent enough shot to make a vid out of. I do plan on just downloading the vid files to my Mac and editing them with iMovie to start with I think.

The CP scope is the 4-16x. If you want the specific one look at the Armada package available on PyramydAir that is where I got it from. As for lasting on a springer....I don't know. I know springers are tough on scopes though due to the 2 part recoil.

Which SideShot version did you get?
