Got my Hill EC3000

I am not sure about the Ring material. That being said replacing the Hill's rings would be almost as simple as the Yong Hengs. And I have timed every gun fill I have ever done with the yong heng to keep track of maintenance and the Hill is nearly twice as fast. Not to mention I have to put ice in the bucket for the yong heng and turn the pump on and off so if you count that it's well above twice as fast.

This is awesome and puzzling to boot! I have not been able to locate the Hill compressor (in stock) from any of the retailers I have searched. All those that list it keep extending the date they will have them available. Also I believe one reviewer on AGD said his Hill compressor that arrived in late April was recalled by the company after only having it one week. I don't know about that and have not seen or read anyone else mentioning a rcall. I'm new to posting here and dont want to violate and rules by asking, but ImI'm curious as to where the OP purchased their compressor from

Well I got another email last night saying they had them in stock. So I checked and they did show 3 available for purchase. I'm like WTF.....PA, so I called and spoke with the sales department this morning and told them I placed a pre-order weeks ago so why I didn't get one of the ones they are selling online now? Sales rep said they didn't even know they had them in stock. Then checked and saw they did have 2 now. So I was told I would get one of those. But you know I'm not all that thrilled or sure I will get my pre-paid compressor. PA isn't the place it once was. So nothing yet as for shipping and the order being fulfilled. But I will let you know. In any case there's still 1 listed in stock for sale.

Well I didn't get one 😕. Totally disappointed with PA at the moment. I think it stings even more to have had PA's sales rep be dishonest with me over the phone. 

So my wait continues and hopefully the next shipment. But there's one thing for sure given this experience I will never place a pre-order with either AGD or PA again. And also especially with the bad reputation they are building over in the Dealer forum.

Damn! Sorry to hear that, I really do feel fortunate.

Could as well be me or someone else getting the same treatment your receiving.

PA and AGD really do need to do some changes before they kill their brands forever!

Hopefully the Hill Ec3000 lives up to expectations, I don't expect a Bauer.

But I dont want to mess with a YH with its cumbersome and sometimes maintenance intensive set up. 

Or the horrible reliability issues with an Air Venturi Nomad.

I expect the Hill to be at my doorstep this coming Wednesday and will post my initial impressions following. 

If there is any reason I decide not to keep it, you will be the first i in get intouch with, before going to the classifieds. I have a Bauer backup plan, if not satisfied.
