Got my Brocock.22 Concept XR today.

When I bought it the seller said it worked fine,well ok,it did not come with a moderator or a magazine so I got a Hugger.22 Belita for it and am waiting on a CARM.22 mag.

The problem :it is Not a .22,the .22 pellets drop out of the barrel quite easily...it may be a .25....

This seller says it works fine and does not even know the caliber,BS....so now I have to order the right magazine and moderator for it.

So my excitement turned into WTF,,,,Got to start all over....

.

So my post about "Being too good to be true" has come full circle.

I am keeping it,I will just have to put it a side and WAIT for the right stuff to shot it to arrive.

So I thought I got a great deal,LOL OH BOY.

I will say this about the rifle,Brocock Concept XR looks to be a well made rifle with a lot of good features.

So yes I will kept it for now....and I did contact the seller and told him how I felt...

I can use the Belita moderator on something else...the mag. not so.

Hope yours works better than mine. I have the 22 and have never gotten it to shoot anything like a reasonable group at 25 or 50 yards. Tried over ten brands and weights pellets and slugs. Best I could get was one 1” group at 25 yards. These guns are far from accurate. My Avenger outshoots the Commander every day. I've had it back to vendor three times for "tuning" and diagnostics and he can't get it to shoot either. Good luck on yours.

@rsfrid, if 1" at 25 yards is the best you can do with your Commander with ten different pellets? Then you definitely got a lemon and should request a replacement. My three year old Bantam HR Sniper does easy dime size groups at forty and fifty yards in good conditions. I've shot many 1/4" five shot groups at forty yards. Sending JSB Exact Jumbo 18s at 875 fps.

Mine has to be a .25,and it is going to shoot good,I said so,LOL.

Pictures,sorry ,but you can see what it looks like online,the XR has the newer cocking lever.

One thing I do not like is that I shoot lefty and the lever is too close to my face...oh well.

Yes ,the add mentioned the caliber,,,,but the add was wrong.,...the caliber was wrong and I did mentioned that.stupid FU mistake by seller.

One time I went to pick up a dog that I had chosen earlier ,the guy gave me the wrong dog,I did not realize it until I got home,that dog looked at me like I was its' savior ,what a sweet dog,of course I keep her ...fact is that is her in my avatar..or the picture I use ,Brea was her name.

I hope my Brocock can be half as sweet.

I thought Maybe you got it off of eBay at first because I bought an air gun a couple months ago that the seller said works great! And did not work at all, I messaged him about it with no response so I decided to try to repair it. And after taking it apart there were parts missing. Then I was really mad and messaged him and told him how I felt about it and then he responded and said he didn’t appreciate what I said And told me that his brother gave it to him. I told him you don’t trust somebody else’s word no matter who it is and should try it yourself before you say it works great . It should’ve been sold as parts or repair.I hope your purchase turns out to be a very good one after you get the magazine and shoot it.

Fact is I did get it of eBay....I told the seller how I felt and he gave me an apology and said he would buy the right magazine for me.....it is a pawn shop in AZ. and AoA sells Brococks so I will tell him about that on Monday and see where his truth lays.

For sure Ripper the seller should test the item to make sure it works.....or sell it as is.

Agreed. I can't imagine a pawn shop will buy an item without knowing it's condition. They are full of poop if they try to play dumb
