Got my barrel tuner today

Okay, this is my warranty story with both M3. On April First M3 compact came with manufacture defect on Picatinny rail. But FX has stated that it is a cosmetic issue and not covered by warranty. Also the first regulator creep because set screw o-ring problem. So finally after three weeks I received replacement o-rings.

Last month the second M3 sniper came with first regulator leak air, liner locker problem and rust everywhere. I called dealer and been told 80% fx rifles came with rust in recent days. So they don't cover the rust issue, I need to contact FX for warranty. After back and forth several phone calls and email with FX, after almost one month I received several warranty parts from FX. I also been told they will not fulfill my request in the future for surface rust on objects. Because it is purely cosmetic on some areas and is not covered under warranty. FX suggested that I should thoroughly wipe the rifle down before storing to prevent surface rust.

The warranty valve from FX is rust too. But I don't want to argue these cosmetic issue any more.

Those parts are really ugly!

Rust on most things means the finish surface was damaged in the first place. Rust is only cosmetic is the biggest cop-out I have ever heard. If they rust AFTER you get them that is another thing but there is no excuse if they come that way from the factory.

I used to get that kind of stuff from Crosman and it is the main reason I quit making my Biovalves twenty years or so ago. Cuz a large number of the parts I was getting from them were so bad they were not even usable as they came.

I am seeing pictures of used parts being sold as new. What could be happening, and I have been seeing this in way more things than airguns, is people being greasy. For some reason nowadays people have no problem returning stuff used and claiming they never used it. Companies must be taking these turds on their word and just placing these returns back into stock. I bought a brand new $1,100 scope from Cabela’s. When it arrived I unpackaged it only to see, and very very obviously, that it had been mounted on someone’s gun for quite some time. I won’t even go into how many power tools I have unboxed only to find a used one nicely wrapped up inside.
