Got my 78G grips from Vernon Austin

They are gorgeous and the fit is outstanding. I really appreciate the very high quality werq for sure. The gun feels great in my hand with these on it, looks and shoots good as well. Ten meter target rested as I am a bit on the wobbly side today. I can't remember what pellets I was shooting in it but found the Beeman H&N Match Wadcutters did well so adjusted the sights for them.

Those are some nice looking grips. I would like to get some walnut grips for my 78G and my Crossman 600 but I have spent too much money lately. My 78G has a very small leak which isn’t even worth taking it apart yet. It’ll hold CO2 for four months. But when the time comes after I take it apart I’m going to repaint it a satin black and then maybe get some new grips.

Mine in zebrawood arrived this afternoon.

That is a very small leak indeed. Sounds like you have some great plans for the gun. Expect you will get there eventually.

I ordered some walnut grips from him off eBay a week or so ago. It say on his eBay listing he makes them after they are ordered and it takes up to 4 weeks to receive. The estimated delivery date I was sent was towards the end of May. He has a number of wood chalices to choose from. I am kind of wishing I would have ordered cocobola now but walnut will be fine.
