Got my 6K nitrogen tank

They delivered my 6K Nitrogen tank today. I put my Joe Brancato regulator on it.I also purchased a used tank dolly that rests on 4 wheels so if I have to move it around I can.

I should be all set to fill a tank or directly to my airgun.

My 6K tank is silver with a red top (curved section of the bottle) ring. $100 deposit, $80 a year lease on the tank and $70 fills. Do NOT fill a SCBA tank from these unless you want to do frequent fills to the 6K bottle. They will fill a gun for a year or more with heavy shooting. They will fill a standard large SCBA only a few times before pressure is down to 3K. I had 2 but when I got a compressor I did not keep the other one!

Next I believe I will either get a Great White or Tiger Shark tank from Joe Brancato to take along on road trips.

IMHO the money would be better spent on an Air Venturi Nomad II or similar which is portable and will operate off your car battery when on the road and off 110 VAC when at home!

Yea you can get away filling a 90 cu/in bottle like the Guppie or Ninja EZ Fill (my favorite) or an Air Venturi (also from Ninja and available in regulated or unregulated) from the N2 tank but the fireman bottles will suck it down in a BIG hurry!

I like the nitrogen bottles because there is no maintenance hassle, or maintenance cost. The older I get, the less I like either maintenance or hassle. Also, I don't have to worry about contaminating my high dollar guns with moisture. I just make a phone call and have enough gas for about six months. Just my two cents worth.

lol, I hear that! N2 is zero moisture! I started with an AirForce gun on CO2. That anemic shooting lasted for about a week then I got the N2 Bottle for real power!

I think Nitrogen is the way to go if you can get it at a good price like you did,

I looked into in my area and it was crazy money for a 6000 psi tank,

Buying a 1,600 dollar compressor was not that big a deal, And filling a Great white with air from the local shops was a 45 dollar deal and a couple of hours , I like to KISS , Keep it simple, LOL.
