Our mini aussie passed away this spring. He was a heck of a shop dog and companion. Today we picked out a new mini. Named him Merrill after my favorite custom powder burning pistol. A Rex Merrill custom .357. He is fitting in rather well thus far!!
Best of Luck, Dogs should out live us, they are always there to please you no matter how bad a day you have or if you are feeling bad, They usually know when you are not well........... Good lucking pup
Is that a Blue Heeler? They are a loyal dog but can have a habit of biting people and until they grow up a bit, expect them to chew everything in sight and dig lots of holes, typical working dog, I know because we have a 10 month old Kelpie that's going through those stages at the moment but each day he is becoming a good mate, loves jumping in the ute when I'm going shooting, have fun with your new family member and if he has any Aussie in him, he will love a beer, lol
Adorable pup AJ. Good to start teaching him about the air gun addiction at an early age ;-) Our little Chihuahua isn't scared at all of my airguns, but our little Morkie that mom left me is terrified of them?
Strikes, he is a miniature Australian Shepherd. He is a merle, so he does look like a heeler. My uncle had heelers and I was always afraid of them because they were mean as a damn rattlesnake!!
Thanks Jimmy!! We had a lab that was terrified of guns. He would take off when he heard the gun safes opening.
Aaron here's my shooting buddy . She literally travels everywhere with me . When I load uo my guns she gets so excited to hit the road she just runs behind me barking .
Yep she's a mini . I can shoot outside for hours and she just stays under my bench . I walk down to score targets and she's right at my feet ...My wife says she don't know why , but that dogs fascinated by you
Ajshoots, thanks for sorting me on the pups breed, I have never heard of Aussie Shepherds, bit of a search on the web tells me they were introduced to Oz in 1990 and the breed possibly originated in the western states of the USA so the name may be bit of a misnomer, their temperament is better suited to being a family pet than a Blue Heeler.
