Got a “compact” box today

I have the lite version prolly getting around 27 shots on reg. However any one got any advice on tuning the Dreamline. I max out my hammer spring and there is no change in velocity from setting 3 up to max almost seems to loose speed. Seems like the hammer spring doesn’t have much tension on it but any way I’m at 140 bar spring at 3 and getting 810 FPS if I increase spring to max I’ll be at 825 and going up to 150 reg max spring I loose FPS. But I bagged 5 squirrel so far and stacks hades at 55 yd

Yes, that was the first thing i did. It seems like the spring doesnt get enough tension but this my fist and only fx. Really been thinking hard about selling my tiapans to get to get an fx impact or another ed gun r5m in .22 sorry for tangent any info on the compact would be great. Could my regulator be to high the tranfer port on 30 25 gets a 10fps gain

You should be able to get at least 860.(15.89) You say when you go up to 150 , it drops in fps, then like you are thinking maybe your hammer is not hitting hard enough. Right now on mine with fill pressure 230 bar, port set on 25-30, reg 150 , HS 3 I am getting 870 with Hades & 29 shots . If I set my hs any higher is does little , except waste air. If you can only get 825 with 16 grain pellets, I think something is wrong. What does your dealer tell you?

Just a thought about tuning the compact. Sometimes you can have to much air and not be efficient. And sometimes you can have to much hammer spring and just pound on the valve for no reason. Plus all of your adjustments depend on how big the plenum is that holds the air for the shot.i think that’s why some of you find the best spring tension is on 3. When mine gets here I will leave my hammer spring grub screw where it was from the factory. Than put the Hs adjuster on max take some shots over the crony than adjust the reg up from maybe a starting point of 120 until the velocity stops going up that would be the most efficient setting I think. Now I would adjust the grub screw on the Hs adjustment and see if the velocity goes up any if not that would be the efficient spot. Then your hammer spring adjuster would be on the max setting and you would have your full range of adjustment with the hammer spring knob than maybe we would not be blowing extra air out the barrel and maybe pick up some more shot count. Please give me some feedback on this.
