Got a “compact” box today

So the gun comes with the folding stock adapter and you would add the aftermarket buttstock assembly with buffer tube? Like this one?:

I have one being delivered Friday it’s a .25 here it is and it has the stock and mod as a package ( Airgun depot )

I figure if the Leshiy can push the 25s so can this one

I was thinking the same thing. If the Leshiy can obtain power with such a short barrel then the tac should as well. I have waiting to hear about a 25 seems everyone goes 22 for some strange reason. Anyways keep me posted o the 25

I passed on the .25, I just don't think it will be much over 750 with 25 grains. Maybe 800, just guessing. I can live with a .22 16 grain going 880, but don't think I would be real happy with a 25 @ anything less than 880. Please post the data on those .25 s, when you guy get them. However I am sure a .25 at 750 is more than lethal for small game. Just a lot of trajectory. 

Really nice set up. Its exciting when that new Airgun finally shows up.

I put a Huma in mine today just for kicks. My last two strings. 3300 psi fill. Reg pressure set at 150 & HS on 3. The Hades 29 shots, H 870 L 853 A 860 ES 17. With JSB 15.89 H 859 A 853 ES 11 L848. I shot a lot of strings & the hades was always a little faster and the ES was always a ill higher.

I did not write it down, but had one 29 shot shot string using reg 15.89 with a ES of 7. I was shooting pretty fast & is not broke in. When I set hammer spring higher , I could get 880, but only about 20 shots. I am going to leave reg it where it is for now. With the Huma reg, you can increase pressure, under pressure, but you must release pressure to decrease reg pressure. 

Have you tryed adjusting the small set screw in the hammer adjuster, like on the impact and crown

Yeah, got that maxed out. Actually on 3 , is most efficient. When I set it up higher, it just waste too much air and ES is higher. For 10 fps , not sure it is worth it. 30 shots at 860 & 870 is not bad. Was keeping 10 shots inside a nickel all day long at 50 yards. When I tried the whole mag, would open up a tad. I only have a 3-9 on it now, do have a cheater on that, so it might be more like 4-11. 

With a 220 cc bottle on the Compact. 3300 psi fill. Huma reg set at 150 psi, HS on 3, using regular jsb 16 grain, 36 shots. H. 864 L 853 AV 858 ES 11. ( was still on reg, but close to 150) Not sure how many cc the factory bottle is but, I am getting 7 more regulated shots with the 220cc. (29 with factory) But the nice thing about it is , two full mags. I think FX should get their mini bottle out. I am sure a lot people would like two full mags. You might get 2 full mags with the factory set up, but you would have to have low fps. 860 with reg jsb & 870 with Hades., 

Well I received my shipment from Airgun depot on Friday after the long back order time for the .25 cal compact.I hurried to open the box and was totally disappointed to find out they sent me a .22 cal instead. What a letdown I had a full weekend of shooting planed that will have to wait.Now I have to ship this one back and wait for the new one to ship back...no quality control in the shipping department I guess.

Why not keep the .22 an try the fx 19gr slugs .


i am getting 2 full mags on a fill at 856.. for me this is a close range hunting rifle and 2 mag is more then enogh for me.

but this gun is so fun shooting! Its lite and small and my little 1-4 scope is perfect for some fast on target shooting. I am so happy with my setup.

Spyde 82, Your gun is more efficient than mine, no matter how I adjust it, Hades in the 860-870. I can only get 29 shots on the reg. I do get a few more shots but they are in the low 850 & off the reg. I am going out now and shoot some quick groups at 52 yards & see how these hades do. Be back in a minute. 

Marco , I would shoot that that .22 for a few days before I sent it back. I don't think this compact is going to have enough huff & puff for a quarter inch piece of lead. 

No not going to waver now I will keep the 19gr for the cricket. Besides who else is going to test the .25 I have not seen any.25 compact reports yet.

The compact should have better velocity in .25 than the Leshiy Has and they get some great hunting results.

I like your spirit. As you say somebody has to "bite the pellet" & try the .25. 

Here are few quick groups I just shot with the compact using Hades 870 fps. No it is not a bench gun, but more than adequate accuracy for hunting.



10 shots at 40 yards.



10 shots at 52 yards & of course that low flyer. 



10 shots @ 52 yards & that huge cluster on bottom right is 36 shots as fast as I could pull the trigger. 

Your groups look great. Velocity is good shot count is good I think that is about all we can ask from this small package.
