Goodness me - I’ve done it again

I'm glad someone else is interested in co2. I have a Hammerli 850 in .177 coming from SPAW after the holidays.

I talked to Roald from The 850 Store about co2 regulators since I am in Texas and it gets pretty hot in the summer. He said he hadn't had much luck finding a good regulator back in the day, but if I could find one it would be a good solution. Since I am planning on tethering to an external co2 bottle I started doing some heavy research. Seems the paintball co2 guys are really just using nitrous oxide regulators that are used in race cars. Fortunately I have one of the premier nitrous shops 5 miles from my house.

I also swapped a few things for a Hammerli 850 in .177 that has been converted to HPA and is shooting JSB 10.34's ate 910 fps at 1100 psi. I am going to convert this one back to co2 as well and run it at 1100 psi on a co2 regulator. I assume I will get less fps because the co2 molecule is larger.

Anyway, those are my two co2 projects for early next year.

2260 is a fun rig, naturally pretty much all 22xx parts & mods work well, a marauder trigger can be fitted. I've used them with pinned valves and everything TKO can do, outstanding.

d3vnull, youe temp will always need to be above 90 degrees ( might not be hard in TX ) to use your reg.

John

Yeah, on the one I will have to heat the bottle on cold days to get it to 1100 psi. On the other I will regulate it at 850 psi. Since I hate cold weather I won't be shooting below 75 degree days anyway or will just use the HW30 where I can get in from the cold quickly.
