Global Member Map

I don't know how many actual registered users there are on this forum, but we currently have 147 markers. About 20 of the markers are fill stations or stores and another 10-15 are shooting locations. I'm sure we have more users than that. You don't need to enter an address if you're afraid of sharing too much information. You can just enter a zip code or city/state combination. I corrected a few markers that were duplicates, presumably from a user mistakenly creating their marker multiple times. I also found a couple of stores that were marked as users. I've tried to correct those errors when I found them. Michael will probably unstick this sticky soon, so if you're not on the map, or want to mark a fill station or store, please do so soon.

"ztirffritz""https://zeemaps.com/airgun_nation" will also work. Makes it a little easier to remember.

If you want to locate a specific user, you can go to the 'View' tab and select 'Show List'. You can then search for the specific user alphabetically.

I live in Natchitoches, a little over an hour NW of the LDWF shooting range at Woodworth. I added the Woodworth range as it is a free state owned range that is very nice. You do have to call ahead to see what hours it is open as it is staffed by volunteers. They even provide free targets. That range is the only one so far posted on the map in my state.

"Saltlake58"Just looked at the map. Feel lonely. Only person in Utah on the map so far. There's gotta be someone else out there in the local vicinity!

Map is a great idea. Maybe we can find enough to setup an airgun shooter's night once a month at a local range.
@Saltlake58 Feel free to mosey on down to Arizona if you want to do some shooting.

The Woodworth range is located in Central Louisiana. I live about 70 miles NW in Natchitoches. I was raised in Alexandria and use the Woodworth range as it is a really nice range and close to Alex where I have friends and family. Be advised the town of Woodworth is a NOTORIOUS SPEED TRAP. If you go there do not drive one mph over the limit. One fellow got an additional ticket for not having any water in his windshield washer tank. No kidding.

This is such a useful feature that I think it deserves a tad more advertising to nudge folks. Maybe we should rename the title of the sticky to smith like 'call for action: put yourself on the map'
Eventually, I feel this can become a first class citizen of the AGN site, i.e. appear on the user's profile, have a dedicated icon on the main page, etc.
No other airgun site has this sort of a thing.
