Gladius and HW44

Shot a new .22 Gladius and .177 HW44 today. It was cold and windy here so I didn't last too long and didn't set up a chronograph. The Gladius reliably hit tea jug bottle caps (1.75" diameter) out to 50 yards using CPHP pellets. It shot those so good I didn't even try the JSB or H&N pellets I had (but it did shoot the H&N Barracuda Match pellets very well at short range a few days ago). Amazingly quiet as well-I thought I had pellets jammed in the barrel at first. The HW44 (with red dot optic and rested) shot consistent dime sized groups at 20 yards with 8.44 JSB's and shot a 2.5 inch 10 shot group at 50 yards. Lighter AA Falcons weren't quite as accurate at 20 yards (quarter sized) but it could have been the wind moving the lighter pellets a bit more. I almost always work triggers on my guns but the HW44 trigger is so good that I will not touch it. First stage is just slightly longer than I prefer but very light and the second stage is also quite light but very distinct with a sharp clean break. These seem to be two nice air guns and I certainly would buy either again.
