So far i have not thrown my hands in the air over the new gun, but i have slowly gotten it to perform better.

Last outing had things flying at usable speeds, but still not exitment over accuracy, though the dialing are also still pretty rough on it, but after last time at the bench i was pretty sure me cranking open the hammer adjustment screw was too much of a good thing.

And sure enough today doing a little testing / adjusting in my living room i was able to turn the hammer adjustment screw more than a full turn before speeds started to drop, so probably wasted a lot of air on my last session.

My settings are now

REG#1 150 BAR - REG#2 125 BAR and on Hammer #7 i get these speeds with the 3 main pellets.

Of course i need to click down on the hammer to offload the few tins of Heavy pellets i have ( 3 tins left )

On the other hand 907 or so FPS on the MRD i am not quite sure if that is too much or too little, but i will take it from there tomorrow in a little session at our range, and then work my way down in speed adjusting the hammer.

If i need to go up a bit on the REG, thats why i have left the #1 REG as high as 150 BAR, when i find a sweet spot i will bring the first REG closer to the second one for sure.

The Beasts i have no idea if they need a bit more of a kick in the skirt, but if that is what it take then so be it, i know what to do now.

This maverick sure as "some hot place" are not a pick up and shoot gun, unless i have gone completely wrong in my pre getting gun pellet shopping.

I have also asked for a price estimate on the new Vulcan 3 from my dealer, and a time frame for getting one home ( dont seem to be on shelves in many EU stores )

Then again if i get the Maverick shooting better, then that will probably put a damper on new gun ideas, and a accelerator on getting a big ass compressor to fill 12 L bottles. I have already shot my 300 BAR tank down below 250 BAR, actually it is more like 220 BAR now :) i will tether it soon for the last "mile" of shooting.

Got new fill station in mail - more pellets and a few other little things, my old FX fill station need a overhaul, it is actually leaking a little bit at the hose when it get over 200 BAR

O I forgot to mention.

That little steel ball responsible for the clicks on the hammer wheel,,,,, WHT was FX thinking, that hole need to be 5 mm deeper, and the ball replaced with a pin with a rounded end.

I am sure 10 out of 10 owners of guns with this system will loose the little ball sooner or later,,,,,,,, yes i already lost mine but at least found it again.
