Getting A Leshiy Today and have some questions?

I ordered the Edgun Leshiy with the Huma regulator and a .22 cal. and 25 cal. 350mm long barrel and extension shroud. I will be setting it up for about 35 fpe to go after groundhogs. First question what would be a good regulator setting to start with. I was thinking around 115 bar. The second question is I want to set it up for a two stage trigger. I watched this Youtube video and ordered the socket ball screws to do the trigger job. Is this as easy as it shows and does it pertain to the Gen 2 Leshiy's Bill

I can't get use to "slapping" this single stage trigger.

I need that screw with the spring ball. Whose got a link?

Micheal if you watch the video above on the trigger job it has link to Amazon for the part in the show more area. Bill

Oh I see Brian beat me to it. Brian did call me and suggested getting some canned air to blow off the EDMU cover. Good idea!

illy that this $0.99 upgrade isn't done directly from the factory. Are you listening Ed?

Always! :) In fact, based on my own experience I have more accurate shooting when I don't know when the shot will be exactly and just pull the trigger constantly and smoothly in comparison to the two stage trigger as I use in my other guns. Leshiy is not the gun for benchrest like other guns, so I found out that one stage smooth trigger gives me better accuracy in real life. So I would recommend you to use it for a while, to get used to the gun and then consider if you really need to the coulbe stage trigger on it.

So, shortly, I would recommend to get used to the gun, then make test shooting in real situations for accuracy with the original trigger, then install the double stage and choose what is better for you.

I agree with Ed. For the ultimate accuracy, the surprise shot is where its at. That's why tournament archers use back tension releases. You aim and keep increasing back tension until your bow goes off. It has to do with humans, muscle memory, anticipating the shot and us doing weird things without even knowing it. Unfortunately the surprise shot takes nerves of steel and we are inherently lazy. My buddy has an Ataman and it has a Leshiy trigger. He cant do the ball plunger mod like I did on my gun. I have always been a better shot than him. But when we are both shooting his Ataman, he is head and shoulders better than me. He got used to it. His long distance off hand or semi supported shooting is incredible with that vague trigger.
