I have an umarex g2 that has a slow leak... I can fill it up the night before I got to shoot it and by the morning it will be down to 1k psi. This did not start until I degassed it and when it was degassing the plug that fits over the fill plug popped off. Was wondering if anyone had any ideas whats going on with my gun maybe the fill valve now has a slow leak? any info would help.
 
To me a “slow leak” is maybe losing 1000 psi over a month or so. Losing 2/3 or more of you fill overnight is a substantial leak. 
Sounds like the check valve on the foster fitting could be leaking. You can do the soapy water test to try to see where it’s leaking. I would also suggest you try adding several drops of airgun-safe silicone oil to the fitting and then adding air through it and see if the silicone will un-stick it. Try that about three times using 5-6 drops of silicone oil each time. If it doesn’t unstick, it should be an easy replacement once you empty the tank completely.
