Gas or spring for forever gun.

Hi guys Im looking to get a forever airgun I can hand down to my daughter who is currently rocking the pink daisy bb gun. Shes 5.So for now the guns for me. I recently bought a gamo urban and Benjamin bulldog for hunting and the club I just joined has field target. I was looking into pcps but at my price point I wasn't really feeling moved. So for a 177 cal field target gun. Fpe must be lower than 20 fpe. I can tune a gun down if need be if its a hatsan vortex or reasonable to change like a spring or something simple. Id like it to be able to hunt with too but not mandatory.more interested in supreem craftsmanship beauty and above all else accuracy. I want one as cheap as I can but Im prepared to drop 700 on this purpose. If there is a cheap chinese rifle that shoots straighter than a pretty german gun im all ears. It doesnt have to be beautiful if its cheap and works great. I can spend that money later. Hopefully i gave a good idea about what i want. Thanks guys your the best.

The Beeman R7 or close to the same , HW30 would be the way to go. Light in weight , high in accuracy , and she would be able to cock it way sooner then most of the others listed. Another hint is find a re-built Feinwerkbau 124D. I have the same rifle I bought in 1979 , and it looks and shoots like new. Not the finest trigger , but you get used to it. When i got the rifle I was not aware of the less then perfect trigger , and it didn't stop me one inch. The R7/HW 30 does have a great trigger. Any of those three guns will hold their value for years to come.

"scrane"Start forever a little earlier for her.
HW30.
I couldn't agree more, the HW30S is easy to cock for kids and will last you a life time. My son (at age 6) started out with one and now (5 years later) he still enjoys the heck out of it (and so does his dad by the way). Honestly, you can't go wrong with one of those. A friend of mine has a HW35 that belonged to his grandfather, the damn thing is at least 50 years old and still has the original spring. He recently replaced the piston seal, that's it.

Those HW97's or TX200's are too heavy, in weight and cocking effort. Not a good rifle to start with for kids.
