Gamo TC35

Here's a look at the TC35 with a Vortex Spifire 1x prismatic scope mounted. I've had it a little over 2 months and broke it in with 200 or so rounds (89 gr slugs from John -in-the-camper Cripe ). This really is a sweet little shooter. I'd say the build quality in on par with Air Force products. Very light in hand and shoulders comfortably against the firm rubber bottle cover ( not exactly "soft touch" but feels like it'll hold up well ).

The barrel stops 8 inches within the shroud from the unscrewable endcap; there isn't any baffling but the report is tamer than anticipated...not back yard friendly but unlike the .357 Rex. It does bark a little louder with JSB pellets than slugs.

I typically like a light, crisp trigger and the TC35's feels about 2lbs but not bad at all.

I'm only using 1x magnification to make this plarform a 20-30yrd thumper for raccoons and other garbage up-turners!

My only gripe would be that the cocking lever wiggles a little when at rest....

So far I've used slugs from 85grs to 150grs. This little platform is really growing on me. Polymags don't group too well 50+ yrds onward (but I am only using a fixed magnification prismatic sight). John Cripe's slugs aren't as uniformed as NSA's but his 85 gr hollowpoints perform very well. You really have to press the slugs deep in the barrel or else they'll jam against the valve when fired and completely empty your tank (happened to me twice). I've only taken one raccoon with a rib shot that lifted him outta of his mask at 25 yrds (no fair with this gun). Im only using it as a center-mass-short-distance platform so I know I'm doing it a disservice regarding the full range of its potential. Works better than my .30 Bobcat in that application.
