New here, first post. From the West Coast of Canada. Up here we don't have a whole lot of choices in the Non-Restricted category of air guns. Unless you have a PAL, you're restricted to air guns under 500pfs. I've had a Gamo Recon for a number of years and recently picked up a Gamo Stinger, which was sold as a Gamo Swarm Whisper .177. Apparently, they're the same gun with the 495fps restriction, I suppose the Stinger is the Canadian version??
This one comes with a standard 4x32 scope, which I'm upgrading to a 3-9x40. I've zeroed it in best I could at about 50ft and even then the grouping isn't that great. Looking forward to the new scope.
Looking to get some better quality springers, look forward to reading over some threads here. Cheers. Jim
