Gamo Red Fire pellets

These were the only thing in stock today so I grabbed two tins for the heck of it. Tonight it's raining so I can't take them for a test drive. I haven't heard many good things about the Gamo pellets. Anybody have any experience with the .22 15.4g pellets? I know every gun is different, but how'd you like them for accuracy at 25-30 yards? What about for hunting?

Only one way to find out. They shoot really good in SOME-FEW guns. Polymag copies.

The Red Fires cost more per round compared to similar weight Polymags that normally shoot very accurately in MOST guns.

I watched some comparisons on YT with the Red Fire vs Polymag. The Red Fire seems to be the preferred choice most of the time.

These little suckers are expensive compared to the Crosman Premieres. $0.014 vs $0.064. 4.5X the cost! I'll goof around with them for myself to see how they do in the Parrus sometime this week.

Premiers. Geez every airgunner has a love hate relation with those. Sometimes I get lucky and get the Premier Ultras, but only at tractor supply. It is t easy finding good pellets, and sadly the Crosman ones are a whole lot of hit and miss. As for the Red Fires, I have had okay results. They shoot well out of my springers. My Cayden does not like them.

Don't know about the Gamo brand, but these are -by far- the most accurate of all I've tried :)
