Anyone want to post some groups of their gamos? Good bad or ugly. I’ll post mine in the morning, had this thought a little late.

No not at all ! I've tried a dozen plus weights, designs,and Mfg's only to find these pellets, THE MOST ACCURATE.In this particular gun. The proof is in the pudding

I’ll be ordering more pellets soon for various projects so I fully expect both the CFR and Hunter Elite to tighten up considerable
more. I have shot one hole looking groups at 20 with the CFR before with lubed pellets but i have to maintain a strict barrel wipe down for that to work. So I continue to test. Here is today’s gamo groups. 20 yards from driver seat of Jeep into a tree. The RS pellets show potential. There was 5 shots in that tight unmarked group

I've only owned a couple Gamo rifles. What I have now is the Silent Cat .177.
I'm sure it shoots better than I do.
Great guns for not a lot of money.

This is pretty representative of my wildcat .177 with crosman premier hollowpoints 7.9 at 15 yds. Or was, until it started throwing 2 inch groups suddenly (and consistently). Have a new hammers scope with the beefy rings on the way. I hope that is the problem. I am new to breakbarrels, and this rifle has taught me a bunch.

kenfv6 ... if your gun was accurate and then became less accurate it’s likely an easy fix and your barrel (major contributor to accuracy) is sound. If you want to bounce some ideas back and forth I’d love to see you get that wild cat more accurate then ever. Scope is usually the culprit in cases like yours. I’ll have to look online but a tear down a lube would probably be quite easy. Mine are now to the point where I can almost do it without leaving my desk chair lol

Thanks for the offer. If I still have issues with the new scope (the barrel has already been cleaned) I'll start a new thread to ask silly questions. I have already been in the guts of a crosman f4 for a blown gas ram, and rebuilt some 13xx's so I am a little familiar with the big picture. I Don't want to hijack this thread.

Guess it was the scope and rings, both original gamo. 
Hammers scope, 5rds, 15 yards. now finishing getting the new scope dialed in. Ken

That is amazing news and good shot group! It sounded like a scope issue. On an older thread of mine member Yo! Described the same issue happen to him.
