I’ll be ordering more pellets soon for various projects so I fully expect both the CFR and Hunter Elite to tighten up considerable

more. I have shot one hole looking groups at 20 with the CFR before with lubed pellets but i have to maintain a strict barrel wipe down for that to work. So I continue to test. Here is today’s gamo groups. 20 yards from driver seat of Jeep into a tree. The RS pellets show potential. There was 5 shots in that tight unmarked group

I've only owned a couple Gamo rifles. What I have now is the Silent Cat .177.

I'm sure it shoots better than I do. :)

Great guns for not a lot of money.

I haven't made a video about it yet, but here's my Gamo Varmint right before I sold it to buy the Cat.

I’m starting to like gamo barrels. My wife’s elite is accurate even when I’m just plinking. I only shot her gun 2 times yesterday at 30 yards but put both pellets side by side and that’s pretty characteristic when it’s held just right. Then my CFR put the first 4 into .218. Then I started sighting the scope, which has NEVER been my strong suite. It’s apparent I need more scope experience and understanding as I started trying aight in at 30 yards and quickly moved to 10 yards and still having problems.

kenfv6 ... if your gun was accurate and then became less accurate it’s likely an easy fix and your barrel (major contributor to accuracy) is sound. If you want to bounce some ideas back and forth I’d love to see you get that wild cat more accurate then ever. Scope is usually the culprit in cases like yours. I’ll have to look online but a tear down a lube would probably be quite easy. Mine are now to the point where I can almost do it without leaving my desk chair lol
