Gamo Big Bore

I have the TC45 and have not had the best accuracy with it beyond 60 yards. ( yes I've tried a verity of ammo)They seem to prefer light diablo type pellets and round balls. For closer range predator guns they're pretty good. I like the weight of the TC models as well as the underlever, essentially a rebranded Evanix Rex.

I believe many of these are big bores from Gamo are rebrands from Evanix. 

Yes they are Evanix!

I would recommend getting a Texan in .45 rather than a gamo. Accuracy is much better, and there are more aftermarket products for the Texan.

Or get an XP?! 

i have the Gamo tc35L and i love it.. stock im getting 284fpe with 205gr slugs and 1in groups at 50 yards still working it on tho...

So after reading about this Gamo TC35L I finally decided to buy one. I tried filling the tank with my Benjamin traveler compressor. The carbon fiber bottle should be fillable to a maximum of 250 bar, however, When the compressor gauge hits 220 bar, I hear a pinging click noise in the area where the tank pressure gauge and fill probe are located And the compressor gauge needle drops down to about 180 bar and then continually increases back up to 220 again kicking out and dropping down to about 180 again. This will continue to occur over and over not going past the 220 bar mark. The gage on the bottle reaches 200 bar but something seems to be preventing it from going past that. Has anyone else had similar issues?

mine does the same thing.. i fill up with a tanks and when i get to 200bar or so i hear the clicking sound. i turn my tank really low till the sound stops then turn it up a little bit at a time till i reach 240-250 bar

Picked up a TC45, First one showed up with scratches, so returned for another new one. Same as the above, with a full length shroud. No baffles, so not sure how quiet it will be. But room to experiment.



I am looking to hunt mid size whitetail at 60-70yds. So hopefully the accuracy is there.

Chepliki have you tuned the rifle?

The factory parameters in fpe was 170

jorgo.. thats the fpe for the tc35 the short gun,,, mine is the tc35L its much longer .. i have not tuned it.. out of the box with a 205gr slug in getting 284 fpe.. there is not a whole lot of info online about the tc35L most people dont even know gamo made it.. airgun pro-shop is the only place i know selling it and they have a short video on youtube about it

The new L rifles are also the ones that Evike is selling, though they don't even know it. I thought I was getting a standard TC45, with the fore grip shroud, reg barrel, then moderator. I ended up with the 45L, which is like yours the full length unvented shroud. I called Gamo, it seems the full shroud version is the new one and nobody (not even they) have updated photos anyplace.

yep they also changed the the Winchester to have a supressor looks like the took the shroud off the old tc45 just to give it a new look.. but the new Winchester will put out 220fpe
