A few months back I posted photos of my S510s after I purchased the RAW fill port modification, that changes out the proprietary Air Arms fill port requiring the Air Arms special fill adapter, to a RAW manufactured standard foster fitting. After months of trial, evening sending one back, I could not get this seemingly simple change to work. The RAW plungers (three in total on two different S510 rifles) and once filled stick tight into the cylinder, and will not allow the rifle to take refill air - even utilizing a fully charged 300 BAR /4500 PSI tank. I never had a problem with the AA system, even with tank pressures less than 150 BAR. I tried to communicate with Martin about this but he kind of scoffed and brushed it off as if I am totally nuts. Everything is so simple, this can't be rocket science.
I have finally given up and gone back and reinstalled the original equipment fittings and everything is back to working perfectly. I simply mounted the AA female adapter onto a male foster adapter so it quick connects from my tank and compressor hoses and all is well.
In short, I would not waste the time, money, and/or effort to try this if you are thinking about it.
