FXimpact - bipod mount extender 3D print

Im probably the only user who feel the FXimpact native bipod mount end up being uncomfortably close to the trigger, resulting in a fairly squirly behavior when making small yaw adjustments. at least to me it feels a bit that way. Probably because I have been used to longer guns with the bipod pivot point way out front giving great leverage for small adjustments.

So anyway, did a quick 3D print this afternoon and used a 20mm carbon-fiber tube.
First of all, yes the longer "arm" resulted in much easier smooth moves and less tendency to dance on target.
Down side, the current clamp under the rifle is too flexible for a really solid hold, and one probably should stick a Y of sorts under the air-tank to tighten the experience. or figure a higher print to mount to the gun obviously. the front piece worked perfect, its being tightened to the CF tube by the bipod, worked great.

Probably will cut it back to match the extension of the 700mm barrel, line up the end of the CF with the back of the suppressor.. something like that.

Suggestions?

Thank you L.Leon,
Its just a quick draft print, low density which don't help the flex, totally agree cutting it back to the air bottle. also need to get a tighter grip on the part that clamps to the rifle.
Somebody suggested using a 30mm tube and a scope ring for the rifle end. that might be a very easy solution. think I will just keep using the front part as it is after reprinting in dense black.
Should stick the parts on Thingieverse, im sure somebody would mod it a bit further.
