The trick to locating the hole in the stock.

Set up in the mill and used a hole saw...a little dull, but no run out.

Fixture used to clamp the stock in my mill vise. Angle iron screwed to an oak insert in the stock channel
Cut the hole open with a hobby saw,sanded and turned out perfect
