FX wildcat trigger quality issues Att: Fredrick

My Ernest Rowe tuned WildCat is light trigger, AND feels great. He changes out a spring in the assembly, makes for a real predictable and enjoyable trigger. Not far in terms from my tuned-by-same-man Daystate Wolverine. The Wolverine is a different animal not connected by links and rods so it has that advantage. But having the pre-tuned and now amazing WildCat to compair to, definatly send your Wildcat off to Ernest.

I don't think this clevis pin issue has been resolved. I bought my Wildcat this Jan 2017.

Broke my Wildcat yesterday. Had it apart, to fix a leak in the air tank, and while assembling, the hammer got stuck in the cocked position. Nothing to do with the trigger mechanism, like something is jammed inside between the hammer and the receiver body. While trying to figure out what was the problem, pulled the trigger while on safe, and broke the little "L" shaped piece. Mine has the upgraded clevis parts, but the little "L" thing appears to be aluminum, and VERY fragil. Breaks same as picture above, where they made a cutout for the spring. I've emailed FX, and AOA asking for parts. Today, I'll tear her all the way down, and remove the hammer, etc. Yes, I'm a little disappointed in my $1000 plus rifle. ;(

OK update. I too broke the little "L Trigger" piece. It is fragile and originally was made out of aluminum. When I first asked FX on the phone, if the piece had been updated, they said no. After a couple of email complaints, they sent me a new one. It's made out of steel. They were unaware of the change, and told me that FX is constantly improving parts as time passes, and are not always notified of the changes. Long story short, my broke one won't stick to a magnet, the new one does.
