FX Wildcat trigger adjustments for precision

Hello,

Just spent pretty long time playing with my trigger (and also adjusting it) and I want to share you the settings that I came out with.

My advice is to take picture of your present settings and then try this one and maybe start adjusting from there on.

With these settings the trigger feels soft all the way, with no 1 stage movement at all.

This way you hit the sweet zone right away and after a nice distance the trigger goes off, without any added resistance. So while at first this will feel "surprising" to shoot with, once you get used to it, it should cause you to have no extra movement to the gun from pulling the trigger.

This is achieved by distributing the trigger weight more evenly across the movement distance.

Trigger screws from left to right, without counting the screw in the center holding the level in place:

1. (First stage) 1 and 2/5 counter-rotations from surface.
As long as it is not touching the surface while trigger is pulled, it is out.
-I ended up having just quarter turn from surface to eliminate empty space in the pull. Probably you will want to test this with several different positions.
**Protip: try to get the trigger go off when your finger is in the best position. Try this with your bare hand and see where your finger movement is most precise and comfortable. Then make trigger to replicate that.**

2. (Second stage) 3 and 1/4 counter-rotations from surface. With these adjustments we keep this out of reach by the level since "stage 1" screw will let us have even nicer stage 2 trigger pull than this formal "stage 2" screw.

3. 4 rotations from surface. This should aid the trigger to reset to start position if it is pressed while safety is on. I noticed you might have go to "edge" to get the wanted effect.

4. Set this so the distance of the screw is less than hair from the action. This will cause the trigger to be loose when not cocked so you will notice if you are loaded or not easier. This will also cause the trigger to stop right where it triggers.
**Protip: if you like, you can open (rotate counter-cw) this to get more movement distance to trigger so there will be spare movement after it goes off.**

5. Remember to adjust the safety switch too!!!!
While not cocked, safety will need to be turned couple turns clockwise so it will fit right under the trigger level.
*You can put some VERY slight amount of vaseline-like lubricate to aid the safety, but the screw should not hit the level harshly under operation. Doing this uncocked will let you put the rifle to safe without cocking it first. (Probably people at local range etc. appreciate this)

Test safety functionality by pressing/cranking the trigger with more force than usually.

Have fun!
