FX Wildcat Regulator O-ring sizes

I have an FX Wildcat with an air leak and traced it back to the o-rings inside the regulator itself. One of the small o-rings inside the regulator has a small chip in it. On FX website under support there is a PDF on the exploded view of the U.S. version. In section E it lists all the o-ring sizes for the air tube internals and lists the regulator as E-6. But no sizes on the o-rings for the regulator itself. If anyone would know the sizes it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, UTshooter

I think the parts schematic on the FX site does list the o-ring size unless I'm mistaken. The numbers next to the E1, E2, E3, etc that read 4,3x1,5 NBR70, I think that means the oring is 4.3 mm (inside diameter I believe) by 1.5mm (thickness I'm pretty sure) and the NBR 70 is the hardness rating. I actually bought an entire 0-ring rebuild kit including the regulator for something like $45 from AOA but the bags of o-rings don't have the sizes on them, just the part numbers. There sure are a lot of orings! I wouldn't know about the sizes of the orings inside the regulator. I'm sure if you shot an email to AOA they would likely tell you but I'm not sure you would be able to find the correct sizes with the same hardness rating. I tried and eventually gave up and just ordered the kit from them.

UT, I got your email but figured I would just reply here as it seems others are interested as well. That is the extent of my knowledge on the subject, I hope that helps!

Regards,
Cliff

PS one of my orings on the outside of the regulator had a chip in it as well but it did not end up being the source of the issue. See below my post detailing the chip in the oring.

Cliff, thanks for the quick reply. I knew you were the man to ask this question to. I read a lot of the posts that you reply too and you have a vast knowledge about air guns. It is such a simple fix to replace the o-rings once the proper size can be determined. I did contact AOA and got the same answer that you did about the kit. I just can’t see spending $45 on an o-ring kit when they cost just pennies to make! I might just have to get the kit from AOA. The problem is that this is the second time I have had this same issue with the air gun. The first time I sent it back to AOA after about two weeks of ownership. Granted AOA did do a quick turnaround to get me back up and shooting again. This time it is out of warranty and I am mechanical inclined so I looked into the problem and found out what the cause is. This looks to be a regular occurrence so fixing it is simple enough without having to spend a ridiculous amount on an o-ring kit.
