FX Wildcat MK3

Does anyone know when these guns will be available? I had one on order for over a month. I am starting to think maybe I should have gone with a different gun.

Next shipment of WC3s will be arriving to FXUSA the end of next week. Then we'll QC them and get them out to the stores the week after. Thanks for the patience. Lot's of demand for the new Wildcat and we're making them as quickly as we can.

Dear FX usa,

could you please make a clear statement about the confusion there is about the power output as advertised on the .25 sniper that cannot be achieved without a specific plenum that is supposed to be in the rifles delivered till now . You have read most likely the posting from Wimpanzee who is referring to a statement from FX USA that a bigger plenum is on its way in order to achieve advertised power output. He had his MK3 sent in due to the lack of power.

thanks in advance

Guys I have bought and sold a Sniper .30 and Sniper .22...

Still have a Sniper .30 and a standard .22.....Yes they are fine guns, would I wait a month or longer for one (especially .25 Sniper that there is some question to power numbers published vs. reality)....No.

There is nothing the new Wildcat does at the moment that my MK2 Wildcats do not do or my Taipan Veteran Long or my Kalibr Crickets or etc. etc.

Rear power wheel, yep....Can I adjust the power on my previous model Wildcats and other guns I mentioned above, yep.

The caliber change idea is a bonus but have not heard a solid date on barrel kits and if it is anything like FX's other items even when they are available they won't be available (if you know what I mean)....How many of us will really swap calibers anyway???

Just saying lots of fine shooters out there you can scoop up now..

Rant complete and stay safe,

I tend to agree with Mikelo on this one. I would strongly bet when it’s all said and done, a Wildcat mk3 gets set, and left as is once the accuracy is found. I can also safely say with the superior liner in them, who wants to spend more $$ on a caliber change out kit, then go thru the entire tuning process all over again? Knowing what I know, if it were me desiring a Wildcat, I would be scouring the classifieds for an MK2 as the used prices have been pretty decent, and swap in a superior liner.

With the recent developments of the Ernest Rowe plenum extensions and the Huma power plenums, big power and big shot count can be had with the MK2, making it equal if not better than the MK3, without all the doo dads.

Now if it were me with already owning an MK2(and I own two)I’d keep it and find another platform if a new gun is truly wanted.

My opinions only. The wildcat MK2 is a great platform as it stands. There’s something to be said about simplicity.

I'm pretty content with old school FX WCs...My NEW MK2 COMPACT STILL IN IT'S BOX 10 DAYS OLD IS MY NEWEST WC.

PICTURED ARE JUST A FEW OLDIES BUT GOODIES...

Apart from the bigger magazine ( not considered an improvement to all) the standard supplied superior liner ( great !!) and the power knob ( don’t see big advantage vs “ old fashioned “ tension change) FX has to say the following about the Wildcat MKIII

The improvements start inside the Wildcat’s main block. FX has increased the plenum size and air flow of the rifle while also increasing the valving of the Wildcat. The engineering into the new Wildcat block really pushes the boundaries of what can be accomplished with precision CNC engineering.”

Is there anyone ( FX USA ??) ) who can show prove of these claims ? It is also here where the substantial increase in claimed power should come from right ?

You may be pleasantly surprised when you receive your new wildcat lll, I have heard great things from others who have one. All my (4) FX guns are awesome shooters and hot butter smooth.

Sonny, many people buying a Wildcat MKIII will be satisfied as long as they do not expect advertised maximum power output. Also the previous editions of the Wildcat are butter smooth and great rifles just like this latest edition. It is all about getting or not getting what is promised. If you never go out of the city centre with a brand new Porsche that can drive only 60 miles an hour it is not likely that you will ever complain with the dealer about its maximum speed......... In the city centre you will just experience the Porsche is driving “butter smooth” ..😀
