Fx wildcat mk2. 25 strange shotstring

Hello, so I have shot my wildcat around 1400 times with jsb 25,39 gr and jsb 33,95 mk2. I have mtc 5-30x scope and gun is precise until this strange little string happens in middle of shooting. Pressure readings from weapon gauge, which I believe is telling around 8 bar too much. 25,39 gr 220 bar-200 bar Average 890 fps 10 rounds. 200 bar-170 bar Average 896 fps 18 rounds. And now it gets weird, following shots: 904, 904, 900, 850, 850, 861, 875, 881, 884, 887,897,904. pressure after shots 154 bar. And after this short string of chaos I can keep shooting 16 more shots with good accuracy. This same peak happens no matter which pellet is used and POI will change 20 mm right and 10 mm down at 63 meters/69 yards. Grouping will also open from 10 mm to around 17 mm. I had 4 min break before shooting these 850 fps shots, so I assume its regulator creeping or its just set really high and this is the point it no longer regulate. Without this problem the gun could fire 55 precise high power shots per fill! Please help

Thats what I thought, the problem is occuring with change of pressure so I cant figure out anything else. Its a shame because I really dont want to send this for repair, its probably going to take few weeks and I am afraid its going to lose its precision when they handle it and at worst its going to come back the same, there is a lot of conversations about wildcat regs creeping. I have shot enough through it that I can assume its not going to fall apart in my hands so I prefer to crack up the warranty and install huma regulator on it since those things have so much good reputation.

 ?
If you fill to 230bar you ONLY get 28 "good" shots, then from shot #29 or so the fps gets odd?

It does sound a bit like your just coming off the reg ( and the tune is in a good balance) but I'm thinking you should get a fair number more shots IF your air gauge(s) are correct.

Have a known good gauge on your fill unit? Fill rifle, close tank valve but do not bleed, then shoot it untill your off the reg & see what psi your at.

I received the huma regulator and set it to 130 bar. Right now its shooting 250 m/s jsb king heavy mk2 which is exsctly what I want. I didnt collect much data so.. Strings are quite flat, highest deviation is 2m/s, consumes around 2-2,5 bar per shot so around 40-50 shots per fill. Next is important part, wait and see does this reg creep at all. The factory regulator could probably achieve all the same as this one right now, but unfortunately one I had did creep a bit. I will post later strings and results does it creep within 20 h.

I am not going to post the strings, they are good 250+-2m/s with jsb heavies. I would need to change m/s to fps which seems preferable unit in these channels and its overall pain in the butt doing it all with my phone. Conclusion about my process changing regulator in this gun:

Before with fx regulator: shooting was just fine but longer breaks (over 30 min or refilling) would decrease velocity by 2-4% for 2-5 first shots, which change the point of impact too much for me. Maybe the refresh rate was set just super slow(I had 15-30 sec breaks between shots)? Also my regulator was set quite high, 160-170 bar which of course could be adjusted but I do not have proper tools to check my adjust. These problems were not complete deal breakers for me, Its just me, I seek perfection.

After installing huma regulator: I have been testing it now 2 days, I have it set at 130 bar and I get 40 consistent shots with jsb heavy 2,2 gram pellets 250 m/s (68,2 J) from 225->130 bar (could probably squeeze out more shots if I decrease reg pressure but enough tweaking for now). The problem with point of impact shifting over longer breaks seems to be gone for now. I let the gun be overnight with full fill and went to shoot in the morning, velocity change was 1% and there was no point of impact change.

Accuracy remains the same, just got more consistency over longer breaks with new regulator. For last something interesting, I probably shot the best group I possibly can from 62 m distance (5 pellets) and this is what I found behind the target in backstop (piece of thick wood). Haha you do not see this everyday
