FX Wildcat Mk III feedback

Unfortunately all of their guns with long barrels suffer from this. The Wildcat compact seems to hold the poi pretty good and so does the crown with the short 380mm barrel. 3 manufacturers that don’t have this problem are AGT, Weihrauch and EDGUN. I’m sure there’s more but those are the first 2 that come to mind. 

I just ordered a new sniper I got a little bit of a wait so I’m researching about it as I wait. Were you able to resolve this? Thanks

I tried a barrel band on mine and it badly affected the poi like 3” at 30 yards. I promptly removed it. If any type band were to be put on it needs to fit the air tank very firm and float just a bit around the barrel. Just to keep it from swaying around. 

Any FX immune to this issue?

All my wildcats and bottle guns have clamps to hold the shroud in place. These pics are of my own pcp’s along with others that I’ve worked on their guns and suggested they do the same. They have all liked the results- no droop and accuracy has improved-




one guy had removed his and tried shooting without the clamp and found his accuracy had diminished so back on the clamp went. All these clamps can be had from smwengineering in the UK. You can have them made with picatinny rails for flashlight or laser mounts or plain with no rails. 
you will be able to stand your gun up in the corner of your closet with the barrel against the wall with no fear of losing your POA/POI due to your barrel taking a set.

I’ve had to shim the scope mounts on most of my airguns so at least for me barrel droop is a common problem
