FX Wildcat for someone 6'5"

Maybe this is on the right page. I'm 6'5" about 325 lbs. I've got a .25 cal. FX Wildcat on order and hope that it's not going to be too small for someone my size. We've got a T/C contenders carbines but my Encore fits me better but not as good as our Rem. 700s, Win., or Browning A bolts. Just wonder if I should have got something besides a bullpup.

Kk4iz,

Concerning scope height, I found that when I transition to firearms to air rifles that my preference for scope height is different. I always tried to keep scope cleareance to powder burners as close as possible ,but when I went to a FX Bobcat, I found that taller scope height made it more comfortable for me to use my scope. My first pcp was the benjamin marauder and that wasn't too bad because the cheek rest was adjustable up and down, but for some reason going to a bullpup configuration was very different. I know your interested in the wildcat ,but I think it is similar design wise when it comes to cheek position and scope rail height. Everyone is different though aND I just wanted to share my experience.

I am your same size and bought the .25 Wildcat it felt too small for me. Shooting off hand it was OK but off the bench I did not like the check weld. I was going to add a spacer to the butt pad but decided to sell it because I am more of a bench guy than a hunter off hand guy. Now for the gun I loved the quality and wish I would have kept it and added a spacer to the butt. It was light weight and a nice gun. If you are going to use it for hunting it is a lot of gun for the money it is regulated and has a great trigger and very accurate.
