Hey hitman, When I got my LCD from donny I spun my factory barrel taking mine on and off. It was shooting wonky and POI was way off. It dose not take much torque to twist a barrel on the wildcats. I drilled divots in my barrel for the set screws, that way they have some meat to bite on.

Kay, you have a MKII, right? I have a MKI. They have fixed barrels; no set screw. I had the same problem with my Impact. That's why I stay away from Frankenstein guns. BTW, why are you constantly removing the moderator?

I have a Mk.1 wildcat in 22.
The barrels are held in place by set screws. One screw holds the barrel in the breech block, another holds the shroud to the barrel. On my wildcat those screws slid on the barrel and gave me weird POI shifts by having a semi blocked transfer port. I constantly remove/install my LCD's because I have two of them. I have a Ronin and tanto that I like to switch back and forth Between my wildcat and my 2240 co2 pistol. BTW a 2240 and a Donnie Ronin is almost soundless.

I see; I stand corrected. That's distressing. One of the reasons I bought a Wildcat .25 MKI is so that the barrel is fixed. I got tired of constantly having to retighten the barrel setscrew on my Impact. I guess no good deed goes unpunished. When removing / attaching moderators, I always keep a firm grasp on the shroud to keep it from turning anyway. The point's moot I guess though, because I plan on just keeping the SUMO on my WC permanently anyway though. Thanks for responding; I did not know that about the MKI. I'll be careful about that.

I wanted to buy a RONIN, but they were sold out. I'm sure my SUMO will fit the bill just fine. I can't wait to get her out in the field tomorrow!
