FX Wildcat .25 Compact - Just Arrived, 1st Impressions

Big brown tuck just dropped this off Saturday & haven't really "rung 'er out yet" but my initial impression & observations are:

1. Right outta the box & totally bare gun weighs 6# 4ozs. NICE..!
2. Synthetic stock is good - like the texture & feel of the coating.
3. Side lever cocking is everything it's claimed to be - very smooth & no slop.
4. 1st stage take-up on trigger is a bit much for my liking but 2nd breaks nicely at 12.3oz on my Lyman gauge. I'll adjust long first stage later....
5. A bit concerned about the 8 shot mags not indexing reliably, prevents the bolt from loading the next pellet. I have 4 mags & all do this. 
Don't anyone now tell me I have to pull the lever fully back etc, etc. I do & have. Anyway I'll figure it out later.
6. Power is a bit low from claims being reported - with 25gr JSB's on a 210bar fill I get 845 & 40FPE.
7. With numbers above, getting 4 full mags (32 shots) before falling off the reg at about 120bar.
8. Loudness is med/low by my ears - not mouse fart quiet but not bad either. DonnyFL can fix this for sure....!
9. The Picatinney rails on top & forend are nice additions.
10 Accuracy is all that's claimed - VERY PLEASED....!

I have the Donnyfl Tatsu on mine. It’s killer! I’m getting about 28 shots at 872fps that’s with the crono about 12” from end of barrel

The DonnyFL Koi on my Compact made it mouse fart quite. The mod from FX is a joke, just an open can no baffles or anything inside it. I'm getting 870fps with JSB kings 25gr. Don't know about shot count but I have 5 mags and can shoot at least 4 without refill. I will test the shot count this weekend. Gun shoots lights out, i have taken several starlings out to 100 yards with this gun and a woodchuck at 90 that was dead on impact. The trigger did need some fine tuning but that's easy on the WC. Enjoy the new gun, I love mine.

Was the FX moderator secured with thread lock? If so, how hard was it to remove?

Completed to mod to the DonnyFL Tanto as demonstrated in the above YT video from Ernest. 

Tanto is just the shorter version of the Sumo Ernst used.

Used the same wire mesh and same thickness of hi-density foam. Only difficulty is in getting the 1" 
foam rolled and stuffed into the body.

There is a modest improvement in the sound level mostly a lower pitch. 

Worth the effort...? Personally I think it was but as they say - YMMV.
