Fx wildcat .22 fps

Nerver tried accuracy, lowered setting to 120, started hand pumping again, coffey break now, soon som chrono testning, had really great accuracy with Fx reg at around 895 fps, but sometimes i had flyers, did some chrono and saw fps drop sometimes around 40 fps, and my first shot after sittning 10 min was around 60 fps lower and 2nd shot 30 fps, then 3rd shot was ok.

Is it a bad thing to lower the fps from 920 to 900 with hammer spring, or is it better to lower reg setting?

That's kind of a tough one. It's better to lower with hammer and see how it groups. If you end up getting too loose with hammer, I'd lower the reg and tighten the hammer back up. Depends how close you are to the speed you want to shoot. I'd say for 20 fps, hammer all the way.

My Wildcat MK II is 0.25 but I have noted that well polished ST-X barrel like to shoot with higher muzzle velocity with a really good accuracy.

Now I have set the Huma regulator to 125bar and with correct hammer spring adjustment I get approx. 285ms ~ 935fps with JSB King 1,645g ~25,39 grain

Gun is like laser, stacking pellets from 46m ~50yards all day long. No flyers at all !

ST-X liner has been polished with JB bore finishing compound to almost mirror finish.

I have seen many times that some FX guns have flyers time to time and strange POI shifts. Almost 99% of the cases this is caused by lead build up in the bore.

Regular ST barrel was almost disaster if ST choke was not polished really well. Huge amounts of lead stuck in the choke just after hundreds of pellets fired. After polishing no lead build up even thousands of pellets fired and gun is groping extremely well.

Same applies to ST-X liner, bore need to be polished almost to mirror finish and then the magic happens, you have gun like a laser :D

Did some shooting in chrono, then pumped it to 230 bar, vent out for a smoke, When i came back i hear a hissing noise, leaking from reg breathe hole, out with reg and change the o-rings since i bought spares from huma, they are bigger then Fx o-rings (to bad since i have x10 Fx o-rings), changed bar setting to 122.

did 5 shots through chrono at around 908 fps with Jsb 18.13.

gonna try a shot count soon when i have hand pumped it to 230 bar.

Btw, anyone know the size of huma reg o-rings?
