Hello everyone. Quick question... I was wondering what settings everyone is running on their .25 cal. Crowns and Impacts and what kind of velocities you're getting.
I read on a post yesterday that with a new custom hammer spring/weight/ retainer set up for the Impact and the reg. set to 160bar they were shooting over 1000fps (I think they said 1045fps?) using 33.95gr pellets with great accuracy and getting tiny es numbers to boot. Those numbers with the 33.95 pellets really surprised me!
My Crown is set at 140bar, .25/.30, 5, hammer spring almost maxed, and I get 940fps with the 25.4gr and 835fps with the 33.95gr. My gun is one hole accurate out past 50yds and still very accurate to beyond 100yds. I'd still like to try to get the max velocity and see what happens to accuracy. I'd love to push the 33.95 to 925-950fps if any way possible and see what happens. I know over 150bar can cause creep issues but can deal with that if it happens. Never adjusted past 140bar.
