FX T12 400 vs BSA R10 MK2

all feedback and opinions on these two guns are welcome, especially from people who have experience with both.

I need something very quiet and gets at least 30+ consistent shots per fill. The bsa is regulated but some say the regulator needs to be replaced for a better one. the FX is not regulated... but maybe its not a big deal? I also heard the FX is not quiet, is that true ? accuracy wise I expect 1/2 inch at 50 yards but I think both are capable of that.

ok lets hear what you would choose.

Muskrat..... The BSA R10 mkII is a beautifully built regulated gun. For the money, I would take that over a non regulated FX T12 any day.
Both brands are good, and should be for the money, but BSA have been around longer. I have a scorpion in .25 that is a great sleeper gun, and very accurate.

That said, if you want something with a high shot count and only for use up to 50 yards, you'd be hard pushed to beat the BSA R10 in .22
For around the same money though ($1175 from Talon Tunes) you can get a Taipan Mutant standard with CZ barrel. It's a short compact bullpup, with super high shot count that can easily stack pellets within half an inch at 50yds. Mine was shooting 930 to 940 fps from the factory with 18.1 grain JSB's. That is 34FPE!! It is also VERY quiet due to the efficient moderated/shrouded barrel. The R10 will likely be around 830fps though, so not as powerful. The BSA R10 (even the shrouded one) is hellish loud. Even my lower powered scorpion with a Weihrauch .25 moderator on it is not as quiet as my factory stock Taipan.

Reactions: Muskrat.
Awesome choice Muskrat! I've got the carbine version in .22 and love it. The Cricket, the R-10 and the Royale represent my 3 favorite guns that I've tried over the years and are the ones that I'm thus far unwilling to part with. Congrats, don't forget to post pictures of groups and the gun when you get it. Did you get the carbine or the bullpup?
