Has any body cut a synthetic Crown stock for an adjustable comb. Are the FX synthetic stocks solid, made of wood, other? Thanks in advance for the help.

I don’t have a crown I have a Streamline I drilled a hole for the hammer spring adjuster and the stock is rubber on it.

i often have that problem as i use high rings, and lack the tools/expertise to cut a stock. in the past i've used these 2 options with success.

Phil, does "the stock is rubber on it" mean the stock is made of rubber, or the stock has a rubber coating? If it is a coating, is the material under the coating wood?
Steppen, I actually have one of those strap on pads some where in my shed. Bought it for a 1st gen Marauder. The adjustable-kydex-cheek looks like it would function OK, but I think a properly installed adjustable comb would look better.
If the stock is solid wood, an adjustable comb install is apiece of cake.

I drilled through it once on two different guns, and took a Dremel sanding wheel to it on one of those.....the material is fairly soft but solid at the same time.
