FX Superior liner heavy .25

Hey all, i need some info from anyone that owns the new FX Superior Heavy liner in .25cal for the fx impact.

I ordered from krale the old Slug liner A, but at my house arrived a liner that had the Smooth twist superior sticker on it.

It didnt say Heavy or standard, just Smooth twist superior.

After contacting the shop they say that this is the new heavy liner, but at the time the order was made, FX didnt suply the new heavy liner.

My question is, Shouldnt it say Superior heavy or standard on it?

Does any one own the new heavy?

If you do the calculations (don't need a factory and testing), then for a .25 cal shooting heavies ,you want a twist rate of 16-18. For a .25 shooting light weight pellets you want a twist rate closer to 24-27". For medium weight....well that's 19-23"...

Its simple, I can do it all day. My calculator just spits out those numbers based on renowned methods used in the pb world...pretty sure if fx doesn't pursuit liners within those margins, they will absolutely fail the market...so take my word with the above rates and pellet weights... ;)

Can you please find out the twist rate?

The liner i have is the .25cal 700mm and the twist rate is 1:18

Thanks! definitely faster twist rate compare to the original slug liner at 1:21 and superior liner supposedly is 1:22 so this must be the newer heavy superior liner!!! I can't wait to try one once they are available here in the states.

im currently shooting the NAS 29.5gr at 1000fps with 2-3/4 inch at 100meters. not as good as i hoped. I also tested the NSA 26.8gr at 1045fps with 1-1/2 at 100m and im waiting for the NSA 33.5gr to arrive for more testings .

Also i don't think the heavy superior liners are out yet. Could be mistaken though.

A friend of me already install one, 2 weeks before for .22

Can you please ask your friend if the liner said ST Superior heavy OR just ST superior?

Or if it had any indication that distinguish the Heavy from the Standard?

5.5, Superior, slug heavy

I think I have the Superior Heavy Liner .25 or so it says on the label but for the results it seems the Superior Standard ....... I have to ask the store (Krale).
I have tested the Nielsen 29.5gr and 33.5gr at different settings from 900fps to 1030fps with not very good results at 70 Yards and 90 Yards with a little wind, just like the FX Hybrids and the King Heavy MK II that did behave very good.

At first it didn't go very well it seems that the liner needs to be polished with quite a few shots.

FX Hybrid at 90 yards and down 70 yards King Heavy MK II

Thank you for the info. My liner doesn't say heavy on it. Just smooth twist Superior.

Can you please measure the twist rate?
