FX Streamline Shroud Removal

Use a micro torch to heat up the threaded tip of the air stripper until the heat transfers down the air stripper to where it is threaded on the barrel. (the factory uses Loctite on the barrel threads). Once it is good and hot and the Loctite begins to smoke wrap a piece of leather around the threads of the air stripper, and using a pair of Vise-grips or Channel Locks screw it off counter clockwise. Then you may easily pull the tube off the barrel - it has an o-ring at the breech end of it that fits snugly, but it is not threaded at the breech end. Do not use Loctite when you put the air stripper back on because you will want to take it off whenever you clean your barrel, otherwise you may get a patch caught up in it.
