FX Streamline regulator

Requested that Airguns of Arizona set my Huma regulator ordered from them at 140bar. Because they have the equipment to test that it is spot on 140bar. I don’t own a regulator tester. Hammer springs adjusted all the way in. Didn’t loose shot count because I installed a larger Wildcat .22 air cylinder 230cc versus the Streamline’s 190cc cylinder. 50 shots on the regulator at power 3. Even more on lower power levels. Opened up on the transfer ports on the powerwheel as well.

Pics of gun and chonograph strings from power levels 3, 2, & 1 (JSB 18.13gr). Loooove’n it!

TACKKK DRIVERRR!!!!

@JoeKool, why did you install a Huma on your Streamline? Was there something wrong with your FX regulator?

Same reason as the original poster a similar leak, fluctuations in velocity, and I wanted more power. Huma regulators were and are the talk of the airgun world for their consistency and are marked for end-user adjusting. In short, to tune my gun for the best performance. With some trial and error and a little know how most all of these various airguns can be tuned and/or modified for better than out-of-the-box performance.

Ok I’ve only had my streamline for maybe 4 months and it’s leaking out of the weep hole so I ordered HUMA regulator today. My question is I would like to shoot 18 gr at 920 to start what would I set the regulator at ? And much range do you get with the hammer spring adjustment. 10 20 30 FPS ? Thanks

Good luck with your Huma regulator install. I’d bet your factory FX regulator would stop leaking with new external o-rings and quality silicone grease installed correctly. (Tip: read and follow Huma’s installation guide on their website) After installing your Huma reg. You‘ll get the best results by starting with the hammer spring adjustment screw backed out and making small inward turns, then shooting over a chronograph making the necessary adjustments. Untill you reach that in-the-ballpark consistency of 920 fpe. Then a drop or two of blue loc-tyte on the threads to hold it there. JMO!
