FX Streamline

Had to order High scope ring for my Hawk 6.5 – 20 x 42. taking mesherment from my friends Med ring would bin to close. My FX Streamline gives me 44 good shots and somewere in the 5th Mag is started falling off. My fill was 220 bar and a tad below 150 bar where the shots started falling off. From now on 4 mags only. . Mistaken entry my last post had 50m 1/4, corect 50m 1/2" group now and 75' it kills flyes every time? Only problem I have is installing Mag"s? Not as easy as any other gun's I have had. Has anyone had the same problem? WOW still Best .22 I have ever hade. Now with 1.83 lbs scope a hair under 8 lbs, it is heve enough for me. Very accurate with this waite. Rich G

I have about 8 mm between the 42 mm objective and the barrel and it sits about 1.75" above the bore

Here is a pic of an improvement to the safety. My kid had a bionicle lego part that fit perfectly over the safety lever. Hope he doesn't see it! Much better thumb access. I already had one accidental misfire fumbling around with the stock setup. It is a little bit recessed. I bumped the trigger while trying to put the safety on. The barrel was pointed properly though thank goodness.

sorry for the blurry photos

LOL, I will use once of the Legos of my Daughters

No problem Alpontigo. I don't know anybody that shoots air rifles where I live in Montana and it is fun to share! I have had a RWS 54 for 1 1/2 years and have shot that a lot. I have shot probably over 8000 pellets through it and whole lot of bad birds. It weighs about 12 lbs though! This is my first PCP and I am ready to go put some holes in some starlings with it. I am not sure how well I can shoot it though because it is so light. Not to many starlings around at the moment - just at the stinky feedlot. Maybe tomorrow I can get away for a bit......

"Maineiac"For all you streamline owners with bipods - how are you attaching them to the stock? I don't see any sling studs or rail sections anywhere. Are you modding the stock yourselves?
I installed the sling studs by myself. If u don't want to mess up the stock then u can buy this http://www.airgunnation.com/topic/wts-fx-bipod-sling-stud-clamp/
I was thinking same way, but i don't think I going to sell the gun...so I use the sling stud.

What rings would everyone recommend for this rifle? I know it says medium rings are possible because of the smaller magazine but some of these pics make it look like its a REALLY tight fit.

This is the scope I've got: http://www.hawkeoptics.com/airmax-30-sf-4-16x50-amx-ir.html

Since this is a 50mm objective, I'm thinking maybe high rings to be safe?

What about those adjustable "no limit" rings? Are they worth the extra $$$?

BenSeagerMy Streamline showed up today and so far I am impressed. I passed about 30 18gr JSB over the chrono avg of 861 it was very windy and about 38F but my 10 shot groups were one ragged hole at 32yds. Hopefully the weather holds and I can get some more trigger time in this week.

Thats a .22 with fx rings and a 50mm objective Hawke frontier.. I would prob try a med ring if I come across some. I still have more than enough clearance to use royale mags with fx rings.

Thanks for the info! The FX rings in their lowest position are just a bit lower than the BKL ones based on the specs I found. Wish the price wasn't so high!

I'm so happy with the huggett on...what a relief to make the sound down. When i shoot without the huggett, the noise like firearm (@max power). After I put it on, I don't even hear anything else no more...
I got mine with the FX no limit, and FX scope 1" ring...I also use the magazines of my Bobcat...the more pellets in the magazines the better for me.
