FX slug power kit, my experience

So, one month ago I bought the new Huma dual transfer port along with their new probe for my 25 Cal Impact Mk2. I also installed the new Superior liner 700m. I also have the power plenum.

This week my slug power kit arrived. I installed everything except for the (2) spacers. Took about 15 minutes. At the time, before the install of the new slug kit, my gun was tuned to shoot JSB 25.39 gn at 915 FPS. Without changing any settings, I installed the slug power kit, took a few shots, and it was pushing the JSB's at 950 FPS, wow, big increase on speed!

I wanted to see just how efficient I could tune the gun. As it turned out, I was able to drop the reg pressure down to 76 BAR and push the JSB's at 900 FPS. The hammer spring was set at 20.50mm (or # 2 on my power wheel). On a full fill, I started at 248 Bar and shot it down to 92 Bar, for a total of 130 shots! (using the standard 480cc tank) STD 3.8 Accuracy was superb as always.

Nice! Also, the pellets feed so much smoother now that your PROBE is NOT pushing against the pellet skirts, or bumping into the transfer port when feeding pellets. I also just re tuned the gun to shoot the JSB 34gr. Now my reg is only at 98 Bar and already pushing them at 890 FPS. Hope to get some range time in tomorrow and find the sweet spot for these.

I'm not going to install the spacers until I need them for additional speed, which I do not at this point. I'm having more fun seeing how low I can go on Reg pressure for now. This new probe, my opinion is one of the best upgrades yet for the impact. Great upgrade both for pellets or slugs.

Have it installed in my 25 cal mk2 with power plenum in 700mm.

At 109 bar, (leshiy digital gauge), hammer wheel on max, front power adjuster set btw the first and second line, I get 980fps with FX hybrids.

If I turn the hammer wheel to MIN, 1 or E, my velocity drops to approx. 910fps with the same hybrids.

Currently using superior liner, would love to find a heavy superior liner, then I would go the heavyweight slugs and big increase in pressure.
