FX resale value?

Like Michael said sometimes the simpler the better which is why I like my WC, sometimes having to many bells and whistles on a Airgun can be more departmental then it’s worth being to much can go wrong if you don’t understand the workings of a Airgun and are not mechanically inclined, all mine are stock except for a moderator exchange on the WC.
Im a guy who likes to shoot not tinker.

I think the Dreamline is a great concept but the fixed configuration guns like the Streamline and Royal will still hold their value.
Not everyone wants or needs a "transformer" style gun. If a more traditional setup like the Streamiline/Crown meets their needs ,,they are likely to go that route and just keep the gun as is. Especially since those platforms are mature designs and have just about everything you need.
For someone who wants the ultimate in customization- the Dreamline is great, but the other guns have their place and will hold their value, IMHO

I have bought transformable guns as well and once I get them set up properly thats the way they stay. Why alter it all around and then tweek it for days. Its kind of like Mac and PCs one you turn it on and use it the other you are constantly fiddling with., it all depends on your personal likes. I dont like fiddling so I have dedicated guns for each purpose.

`Bout like an used frig.
just buy one and write off as an addiction!

Hey, im editing this because i forgot.
1. They're screwing us by not having the twist x barrel included
2. Fx has arguably the finest air rifles in the world ( Imo) . Yet, they use a piece of crap regulator. IMO!
at least Daystate & Brocock had enough sense to use a Huma regulators. Why in the world FX doesn't? I've had two fx's both of them have had at least one regulator bad and one had two Regulators bad.
I'm switching brands until they correct their short sightedness!

I have never owned an FX, but if I ever get one it will be a “simple” one like the WC. I see way too many comments of folk having trouble with the likes of the Impact. Lots of points of potential failure. I’m sure they are marbles of engineering, but just not for me. I did shoot a Streamline not long ago (was fitted with HUMA) and it shot very nicely, but until I see reliable service (FX USA) and/or the Ernest videos come out, I’m staying put. Service or ease of self tunning is more important to me than the actual gun. Which is why I stick to KG. Any issues & I take it in to Charlie, end of story, until I learn how to do it myself.

I too have a problem with buying say a WC Compact and it not come with the X. I can see having an option at time of purchase. Pay a little less for ST, or pay a bit more and get the STX. Hopefully that’s what will happen when the Xs become widely available.
Either way, the only thing that will drive them or any other company to make changes is to see a drop in sales and enough sense to realize why.

I'll bet they are going to be like a state of the art golf club driver. Tons of adjustments and most of the people I know, set them for neutral and never change the settings.

That is why I bought my Daystate Wolverine 'R". Find a pellet it likes and enjoy the Huma regulator, the great looks, the Lothar Walther barrel, the sling shot hammer, the great 10 round magazine that doesn't distort the pellets, the one hole accuracy at 40 yards and more and simply enjoy shooting it as is. The crazy part is that I am a tinkerer at heart, but with a gun like this, tinkology is not needed.
