Does JSB make the FX Pellets. also the .22 Independence is rated at 40 Joules. i noticed that even the H&N Hunter extreme .25 cal. has 25 Joules stamped on the tin. I am just trying to figure all this out.

Yes, jsb makes ammo: Air arms, FX, Edgun, Daystate. The ,"25j" stamped on the tin is minimum energy recommended, anything under will be worthless

I thought I read that while JSB does the manufacturing for these other companies, each company has their own mold. Is this true?

I know that they have an own mold for the Air Arms pellets, for the other brands I'm not sure. At least, Air Arms says they have an own mold, and I think it's very likely because I do notice a difference between air arms and standard JSB pellets.

in comparison between the aa and the jsb pellets. aa has a thicker skirt then the jsb, but that is the old design. i think they are the exact same now
