Fx o ring help please

AJ3

As for being too new to need a breech seal, there is no such thing. O-rings and Seals tend to have a mind of their own and can fail without notice. Just a fact of life. It's better to have some on hand just in case.

I get all of my o-rings from McMaster-Carr online. Awesome selection and will ship anyway you request which saves shipping costs. Polyurethane o-rings cost much more than Buna-N rings. For example:

-009 Polyurethane A70 ($7.24 for a 10 pack) http://www.mcmaster.com/#9558k14/=y5o475
-009 Buna-N A70 ($2.08 for a 100 pack) http://www.mcmaster.com/#9452k17/=y5o7k3

Tell me which rifle you have and what caliber and I will tell you the size and type of o-rings you will need.

Scott

"travels4fun"I don't use polyurethane unless it specified by the manufacturer. Otherwise, stick to Buna-N.

FX Revolution:
-009 Polyurethane A90 (Factory Spec); However, I would buy the -009 Buna-N A90 and try them out. http://www.mcmaster.com/#5308t118/=y5pw89

Evanix:
Fill Probe http://www.pyramydair.com/s/a/O_Ring_Set_0099_W_Replacement_for_Probes_4ct/451
Breech -009 Buna-N A70 http://www.mcmaster.com/#9452k17/=y5q7aq

Vulcan: I have no idea

Hey Scott
i thought I had it all figured out. I found fx Royale 22 cal breech prongs, they are no. 009.
the 25 cal ain't so easy, I found .25 id but they are too thick , about .068 and they need to be .05. Do you know where to find the 25's?

The .25 Royale takes a 6.35mm x 1.27mm Buna-N A70 o-ring. Maryland Metrics sells that size in Viton A80 (Part Number #32393). Here is the link http://mdmetric.com/or/fpm80oringsizelisting.htm. They carry the more difficult to find o-rings. The main o-ring index page is http://mdmetric.com/or/gb01.htm.

I suggest calling them and asking if they carry the o-ring in Buna_N instead of Viton.

Hope that helps.
